Dr Basu is a GMC registered, UK qualified doctor who has practiced over 20 years in the NHS. He trained in general practice and dermatology, and for the last 15 years he has been at the forefront of dermatological practice.
He takes a holistic approach to skin concerns, and considers all aspects of a person's health as they are reflected on our skin. How we look, after all, reflects how we feel.
Dr Basu has particular interests in Acne and Vitligo, two common and difficult to treat conditions, where he uses the latest treatments to get the best outcome for his patients.
He is also passionate about tumescent liposuction, a gentle method of removing adipose tissue or fat from the body. Dr Basu has trained with world renowned experts in liposuction in USA and UK. The procedure can be done under local anaesthesia when the person is awake, or under IV sedation. The results are visible in the before and after section in the treatments page.
